Not able to load the rank

When we started the game, we had a message of error saying that the game wasnt able to load our rank and got disconnected. Therefore, we lost our rank ( from rank 5 with 2 shards to rank 6 with 4 shards) we lost our items (pink map + add ons) and a 5th birthday cake.
