tomes "challenges"
I would strongly suggest you change the word "challenges" from the tome, you should use the word "missions" or something related, because a challenge is something that tests your ability on a certain area, whereas a mission is just an assignment that you do in exchange for a reward.
I say this because 80% of the "challenges" in the tome's have nothing to do with testing a players ability whatsoever, it's just doing stuff that you will usually do during a game or in the worst case, having to do stuff that doesn't even involve your willingness to do it but rather involves other random events that may or may not happen during a match.
For example: "picking up survs from a dying state while using empathy", if either the killer doesn't down anyone, or he just insta picks up everyone or w/e other random event happens, you can't do anything even if you want to, furthermore if all conditions are cleared and you are able to pick someone up, it has nothing to do with "challenging" your ability as a player.
I'd either suggest you change the denomination or create actual challenges, some of the stuff you have to do in the tome's are actual challenges: like blinding the killer, enduring a chase, do certain stuff while using a certaing perk (not all of them).
And while the glyphs and other missions related to stuff appearing on the map, shows you want to keep adding new stuff and not just repeat missions involving the same actions over and over throughout the tomes, i think they still fall in the same category involving random events... since you may or may not come across them on the map during a match, ofc you can allways have the option of going into a game with the sole purpose of finding them but what that accomplishes is either you leave your team with just 3 players trying to escape or if you are playing as a killer you either forfeit the match from the begining or lose timing assuming you are playing for both objetives (win and get the mission).
Overall, aside from the name factor, i think what the tome's actually lack in general is the "fun" factor...wether because it's a difficult challenge, a random troll assignment or something else. Because right now, most stuff gets done automatically wether you want it or not during games, some are actually interesting challenges and the rest are stuff that gets done on a random basis.
I personally wouldn't mind less challenges/missions if they were actually interesting or the same amount but involving other stuff that doesn't get done automatically or depends on factors that are outside of your control.
