Dead Space Chapter for DbD?

Dead Space is one of my favourite franchisees to ever exist, and with the recent reveal of the remake it really had my brain going "What if we had a Dead Space chapter for DbD?"

Personally i think a horror setting in the USG Ishimura would be really cool to see, certainly a different setting for the game. Being in space and all i think it would be a cool direction. But the thing i was thinking about the most would be the addition of Isaac Clarke for a survivor. Maybe he could come in his casual outfit like at the beginning of Dead Space 3 or perhaps his signature Engineer suit, it certainly would not be a good stealth cosmetic (With the lighting and stuff) but it would be a really cool addition. And i don't know if BHVR could do this but have his RIG change health states when damaged, White when fully healed, Yellow when injured and Red when downed. And maybe as a bonus when they get sacrificed or morried there's the famous RIG Flatline sound. I know this is a stretch but it would be a really cool addition in my opinion. I think his perks would involve around him being an engineer and a hardened survivalist or something. But what i would really love is if they managed to use stock sounds of Gunner Wright's Pain/Grunt sounds for him. I always loved the sounds Isaac makes in Dead Space, 1 in particular despite them all being gunner wright i felt like Dead Space 1's Pain/Grunt sounds we're the strongest. I think BHVR could manage by recycling pain sounds from the series, as for long hook sounds that might be a bit trickier tho. But either way i would love to see and hear a survivor in a cool suit with a helmet filter in their voice. It would be an interesting change of pace for the game and i would main Isaac in a heart beat.

As for the killer that would be tricky since there's quite a bit of Necromorphs you can choose from, likely candidate would be the Hunter (the one that regenerates that you can't kill). I don't really know what kind of power they would have but i'm sure they can come up with something, the only odd thing is how could they include a Necromorph and have it work. For starters Necromorph's would need a marker signal to work with, so somewhere in the lore and maybe even their power the red markers would play a part? Perhaps adding a unique form of hallucination that can actually kill you if you don't deal with it. But lore wise if the entity can contain a Necromorph or create a signal that can keep one active, that could really come to show how powerful the Entity truly is. Again i ain't sure what they would do for the killer side but i imagine a hallucination that can actually harm you would be the most fitting thing for the Dead Space themed chapter.

Conclusion: I think a Dead Space chapter could work if done correctly, as a die hard Dead Space fan i would love to see our favourite Engineer Isaac Clarke and his Engineer suit being brought into Dead by Daylight. If we can only have a survivor and no killer i honestly would be fine either way, just do a Bill and Ash scenario and have like a new guest survivor. I know the biggest issue would be to get in contact with EA however they have added Isaac in Playstation All-Stars so they definitely don't mind adding him as a guest character.

But what do you guys think, would Dead Space work in DbD and how would you add it in the game. And if you don't know what Dead Space is then i highly recommend you check it out.

Love Isaac Clarke, he'd be the only character I'd ever buy sets for if he got in (mainly because I don't think it'd be a cash grab to lock a set just so you can't pay for individual pieces, like Cheryl and Jill's sets, but I actually feel like clipping would be an issue on the guy so it's actually fair to lock it) and he'd instantly become a main. It's shocking how it's been 5 years repairing gens that we haven't gotten an engineer character yet, why not Isaac?

Not gonna lie but i just clued in that your right, we don't have an engineer character. Closest we got is Felix who designs buildings, but not actually build anything. And yea i agree his suits should not be a mix and match and should be locked sets. Imagine advanced suit torso with Engineer legs, yea it would look so out of place. But even if we don't get like a full dedicated chapter i would still at least love to see him as a playable survivor. If there was a petition i would sign it in a heart beat.

But i imagine one of his perks would effect Generators somehow, i ain't sure how but i guarantee you he would have something regarding his ability to repair things.

I've wanted a Dead Space chapter for a while. It isn't TOO futuristic to the point of not fitting, and is a beloved horror franchise. The remake only further boosts it's chances.

I can see them going with something similar to the Silent Hill chapter, taking 1 part of each game too. The Ishimura could be the map, the Ubermorph from 2 could be the killer, and of course Isaac would be the survivor.

The power could spawn a Marker that slowly builds up hallucination effects, and you could have AI Necromorphs that you have more control over and are smarter.

I love deadspace, mainly the first two as the third wasnt as horror/survival. But honestly I dont know if I want it in DBD, they would probably just kill the characters from looks to powers etc.

But dead space getting rebooted woop! Next few years a filled with horror cant wait

Definitely need to watch out on the AI Necromorphs, because if we have AI enemies it would make Nemesis a little less unique. If we had like 3 Slashers but one of them is real while other's are hallucinations that can pop up for certain players then that could work. Also the Ubermorph would fit in well since it's claws are actually hands, and not only that it is theorized that the ubermorph in DS2 is a proto Hive Mind so it would be interesting to see that version make it into the game.

I mean we would always just need to see what would happen, the RE Chapter certainly looked great so i would imagine in the looks department they could do them justice. Ain't too worried about the suit being revealing when we literally got bright shiny cosmetics that already do that. But honestly if they ever make a Dead Space chapter or add Isaac Clarke i just want his pain sounds to be as similar to his Dead Space 1 sounds. Like i really enjoy using Leon because i love the VA's work with his sounds. But i do think a Dead Space Chapter is possible, like the one comment said "it's not too futuristic" to the point it won't work. And if we do ever get an Alien chapter then i really don't see why we can't have Isaac Clarke (That is if we do ever get an Alien chapter). But the 2 chapter's i would love to see is Dead Space or Aliens, if ever both then that would be really cool.

Oh the chapters possible but is it a survivor only chapter? Because thatd kinda suck, if not having a power that works in DBD and suits dead space will be a challenge. I'm all for the suit though, love to see that blue bar turn red when injured.

Honestly my next Hope's is dead space, evil within, the thing or aliens

Agree, but i don't know if a Dead Space chapter is possible since i imagine license chapters do take time, because i am pretty sure RE was in the works or at least been collaberated for quite some time and was pre planned for the 5th year anniversary. But totally agree seeing a survivor with a functioning RIG would be cool, honestly i don't care if it makes you stick out like a sour thumb, those suits are cool.
