Personalised Icons

There is this note in the patch notes:

Implemented changes to prevent players modifying some in-game files (such as models, textures and images).

I can understand that you don't want us to change animations, textures and cosmetics, but what is bad abut how f.e. perks or other UI stuff looks? Why all the fuss with the icons?

This

is also part of the game.

Why don't you just implement an in-game workshop for these kind of icons? It's a lot easier for us and you can ban all other modifications to the game. A win-win.

Yeah imagine an in-game workshop where we can download custom perk packs, old animations, old character models, old map lightings etc all for free - that would be great.

I don't think they would do old animations or lighting since that can bug out and would need to get fixed additionally to all the bugs that exist.

Icons can be implemented pretty easily though. It would also make it possible to change UI character icons during the match.
