Trickster got nerfed really badly
Alright, he got less blades to injure. I wanted to adept before trickster got "buffed" and always I had like 3 kills but the time when gates were open. Now I can't kill anybody with new buff as devs said. Whose idea was to make 44 blades, decay duration time decrease and its time to start decaying also decrease? It's like I hit many times but after downing 2 gens done. Second done and next 2 gens done. Killer adepts suck. Why kill everyone and get merciless? Why not just finish the trial with max 1 surv alive? I am so tired of these adepts. Survivors are really ez role.

Pretty sure this change was to make Trickster more skill-based rather than just spamming knives.
Less knives but more pain for the Survivors.
I'm not going to say whether or not they did a good job on that, because I havne't tried it myself.

He is absolutely ass now especially on console did they do something to the controller sens or aim because it is so off now

Well you never played as him then. Try it for yourself, then we'll talk.

You mean his recoil? they turned it off for consoles? Cool!

I never said better, I said "Skill-based"
Also I've played a lot of Trickster before this change. I know how he plays like.

This number is a real pain in the ass. i just make one hit and already out of blades. If i want to save them, i could play old pink addon for damage.

They went veeeery conservative with the changes to the point it barely feels like a buff. I'm not still sure if it's better or worse than before but it surely feels so bad having to commit to one survivor with your daggers or they are gone in 5 seconds. And i feel it loses a lot of tempo reloading the only 44 daggers, i don't get that nerf. Some people making some soy face on youtube thumbnails saying that trickster is op might have influenced on that change.

If they wanted to do that, they should have done something about his spread and right/left throw pattern so he could actually be accurate.

This is a good change.

Are you aware they made him less accurate? Nerf him to require more accuracy while simultaneously enforcing less accuracy. good one.

Such a shame the PTB promised to make him a better killer for the 1v1 and instead they just removed him as a possible console killer completely.

Not in the patch notes that I read. Was it the fire rate?

Too many mixed feelings about these trickster changes positive or negative changed overall? Ehhh, everyone gonna have different answer.
My thoughts though imo I think this was a healthier change for Trickster. Now has to reload just as often as Huntress and you can't mindlessly just throw knives at them. Requires more skill now to properly use the knives. And when I played him before these changes I was more conservative about throwing the knives focused more on landing the knife hits than spamming them that I hardly had to reload.

They did that the second that he was designed to be a projectile killer. The changes he has received since PTB have barely changed his viability on console because playing any projectile killer on console is a chore in itself.

Fire rate is exactly the same as it was. They increased it in the ptbto 33%, but pre ptb was always 25%. It is like they increased the strength of the recoil and it no longer has a set pattern.

Console get ignored as always

Just run Cut Thru U single and Edge of Revival. Aim at their calves.
Ez clap for an ez adept.
But you might want to wait for DC penalties to do this.
Pretty good job so far, honestly.

I main trickster and I definetly disagree with you. He is so much better now.
Okay so he may have less blades. So? The 2 less laceration makes up for it. It makes his chases faster and more fun. You actually have to be careful with your blades which makes him more skill based.
And no, his recoil is still the same. Tried it out whilst waiting for survivors to leave lol.

Survivors escaping his projectile is really painful IMO. this meter now depletes way earlier and way faster he's got less blades and many addons are changed for that. only cuz he got 2 less blades to injure. main event doesn't suck that much now luckily. and i started to witness object hitboxes

Trickster one-trick here. I think these changes are "weird". They make him a lot stronger in areas he was already strong and weaker in areas he was already weak. It's true that the less knives forces players to be more accurate and use his power more carefully — but if you played Trickster beforehand you already did this to get the most value from your knives. Sometimes I wouldn't even use my knives if the survivors were an easy basic attack mindgame because I don't want to get stuck in the mindset of mindless knife spamming. I struggled the first couple of matches finding a good add on combination to work with his new changes but after figuring it out I had constant 3-4ks (even one win on RPD). So overall these changes are a great start to him and highlights maybe where he can be tweaked a bit to make it more fun for both sides :)

The fact he didn't come with a map should be an indication to everyone how BHVR will be treating him.

The 44 daggers nerf honestly isn't that significant.
Before his buff he had a max potential for
8.57.5 injures with his knives per reload not including main eventAfter buff he has potential for 7.3 injures per reload. So yeah he has less knives but because it takes less to down he effectively has to reload just as often as before.
edit: typo in blades per reload

remember he got only 2 blades down so every single statistic is nerfed. Honestly, I heard they want trickster nerf from ptb but didn't expect to reduce base number of blades. and his recoil is weird af now. at least i see that change. main event now is cool.

2 blades is 25% faster than previously. That's not insignificant. That decreased blades about 25% as well. They probably would have gone with 45 for the 25% on the dot but 4 is an unlucky number in Asian culture so that's probably why they gave him 1 less.

Finally played against one and the blade cooldown is so fast that it’s barely a benefit anymore. I think they really ######### up there.

Nah if you don't suffer from client stutters playing on console is fine, harder for sure but the others are okay, trickster was the most awkward so you literally needed all those knives to compensate for the jankiness, having a quarter removed with the accuracy nerfed has just removed him as an option.
