Dead by Daylight should no longer be affected by an outage. Players logging into the game between September 26 3PM ET and September 28th 3PM ET will receive 1M Bloodpoints as compensation.
Encountered a bug during a failed grab off a generator.

I am playing on PC through the Microsoft store Gamepass
I was playing as the Hillbilly on lary's map. I went to grab a survivor off of the generator in the center of the map (the surgery theater area). The grab failed, however instead of just getting a normal M1 hit my chainsaw instantly rev'ed, hit the survivor and I downed them.
I had tinkerer active, ran into the center of the theater, then around to the backside of the generator where the survivor was repairing, I turned to face the survivor and pressed M1. (I just wanted to make clear I didn't press the M2 button unless by accident)
This only occurred once in the match.
