Hatch should not spawn until 1 person is alive

Who had this idea in the first place?

1 Gen left 3 People alive = Hatch

2 Gens left 2 People alive = Hatch

Both are absolutely stupid for both sides.

3 people are alive and only 1 gen to go, why should the survivors search for the hatch now?! They clearly are not losing right now, 1 can get chased while the other 2 are doing the gen.

2 people alive 2 Gens to go, okay the situation is a bid harder but still it doesn't make sense for both sides.

Survivor: 1 gets chased while the other is not doing the gen because he foundit he hatch. I had so many rounds where I get chased 5 minutes and not 1 gen was finished, then the moment I die the other one escapes, wow...

Killer: Why? Just why? It's so stupid that you get punished for doing your job just that one survivor can bring there other friend out because of 1 key.

Hatch should only spawn when 1 survivor is left or all 5 gens are finished.

imo the hatch should only spawn if all gens are done. Alot of survs are getting free escapes they didnt deserve and killers will slug for the 4k which is annoying too.

This would actually be a killer nerf and this forum would riot within two days if this change went through.

The hatch spawning early allows the killer to find it before killing the next-to-last survivor.

The issues you're complaining about are caused by keys predominantly, rather than by the hatch itself to any degree.

It’s not the hatch I have a problem with it’s keys that end matches prematurely.

At the very least they can keep the hatch spawn conditions but just only change the key opening requirements to all 5 gens done.

Wrong. With 2 survivors left and 2 gens its too easy for killer to patrol and disrupt. I was in a match yesterday and it was just a boring stalemate; was going on for 30 minutes and then I opened a crate and found a key and we hopped out the hatch. I was so glad I found it because I was so bored I was about to just go afk and let the crows reveal me and end the match.

The Killer is no more entitled to a 4k because they killed 3 Survivors than a Survivor is entitled to a gate escape because they did all 5 generators.

Sheesh the entitlement on these forums is strong, on both sides.

the hatch should spawn when the game starts so survivor can escape the baby killer

Disagree. Knowing where the hatch is can help the last survivor escape if the killer has been a boring slugging ######### the whole match. (Before you jump in with 'it's a legitimate strategy', yes, yes, but it's still boring to crawl around the map and bleed out.)

Every time I see a post asking for hatch nerfs, I just can't help but think of all the bellyaching that will occur when the Killer nerfs hit shortly afterwards because when those hatch escapes are converted to kills and Killer's kill-rates increase, you will see Killer nerfs.
