Playing in low settings shouldn't give you a competitive advantage
I don't think I'm the only one that puts settings on low when he plays against trapper to be able to see his traps. Or that plays the game in ultra but applies a brightness filter because the game gets so damn dark.
I'm aware that DBD is not the only game that has that problem but games like Rust have found a solution somehow where you are able to see the same things no matter the quality settings you use. I wish things like brightness, grass volume, etc were standarized between graphic settings.

I think it's fine as long as they give consoles a way to switch to low settings also.
Before crossplay it wasn't that much of an issue on pc because you could switch to low if you wanted to have a better chance at winning, as the other 4 in the match could also.
But 4 pc survivors all on low vs a ps4 trapper locked on high or whatever is just straight up unfair.

They should probably remove low settings completely if it gives such an advantage. Even playing on my laptop on the highest settings, the framerate is way above what last-gen console players have to endure.
