Been taking a break since Trickster release; what did I miss?

I was playing pretty regularly two or three years but I recently just came back (on PS4) and I feel like I missed out on a few things I probably should know. I had a really weird interaction where I had a Claudette use a Decisive Strike when I was nowhere near her hook and it felt like she had been off the hook for quite a long time. Is there some new survivor meta play that I don't know about now?

Also noticed that they are hiding ranks now. Is that how they've gotten around people complaining about rainbow ranks and the match-making system?

    I should mention that I was playing as Freddy in the Decisive Strike occurence.

    ds has been 60 seconds, so if anything be glad she has done nothing for allmost that much time

    Ranks are hidden because MMR is on again, it seems to be working better than last time.

    New killer, new map, minor addon/killer power reworks, some perk updates.

    DS is still 60s and it gets cancelled if they interact with gens/totems/other survivors.
