Movement issue PS4

Playing as either killer or survivor, there is a stagger that causes the survivor to feel like to stagger and as if they are running in mud. For killer it is as if they are stuck in mud even when using their power as an example the pigs dash attack or hillbillies chainsaw and causes bloodlust if active to be lost.

I have tried with multiple controllers and can confirm that they are both affected, one was worse than the other where if I tried to change directions while running even if it was a minor 15% to the left or right my character will lose all momentum and stop while the other just has this weird feel to it.

they must have broke something during the hotfix.

To run at 100% speed your controller has to be 100% pointing in the direction required. If it is at 99% then you will not get full speed.

To test your controller, plug it into a PC and then choose to "Setup PC Controllers". From there you will be able to visually test the range of your analog sticks. If you point your analog stick up and then move it in a circle all the way to the left, and then the right you might notice a "quivering" when pointing to the corners. If that happens, your controller is faulty and will cause the symptoms you have described. You will find it to be quivering more on the controller that is most affected.

This will not be a problem on any game that is happy with a controller to be pointing at 95% to register as fully pushed in any direction. Unfortunately DBD requires the full distance to be pushed.
