Bad Wi-fi Friend On Hook

Playing with a friend ( they use a Switch) and their wi-fi was acting up on before they got hooked.They got desync and were on the hook for me, but they were stuck in some random spot not on the hook on their screen. I tried to unhook them and it would not let me so they DC. Turns out trying to unhook them cause a bug were I could not be picked up off the ground from the killer. Could see the killer trying to pick me ( the animation keep getting canceled), but all it did was move me a tad bit.
