We have temporarily disabled Firecrackers and the Flashbang Perk due to a bug which could cause the Killer's game to crash. These will be re-enabled in an upcoming patch when the issue is resolved.

QoL Change: Needed Role

This suggestion is aimed at making lobbies fill up easier, paired with another idea someone else had.

I imagine the developers record statistical data on various game functions, and this suggestion would use those statistics (if recorded) to increase the efficiencies of lobbies.

First, to pair off of someone else's idea (sorry, I don't remember who suggested it nor do I care to search for it), on the main menu screen when you load up the game, remove the buttons for Survive With Friends and Kill Your Friends, leaving the remaining buttons on the main menu. Instead, when you click Play As Survivor, you would have the option to either add friends or join a lobby. Same with Play As Killer.

Second, the game data would provide a basic analysis of how many lobbies are waiting to be filled and compare it to how many survivors are in a lobby or seeking a lobby. If the total number of spots in all of the lobbies exceed the number of survivors joining or seeking a lobby (meaning there are not enough people playing Survivor), then on the main menu screen, the button for Play As Survivor would glow, indicating the game needs more people to play Survivor. In the opposite scenario, where there are more survivors joining or seeking a lobby exceeds the total number of spots, then on the main menu screen, the button for Play As Killer would glow, showing that killers are needed.

With this change, players would be able to see which role is needed to increase the efficiency of the game (as people would see which role has a decreased lobby queue).
