Accessibility suggestion: press not hold.
Hi everyone.
I've been a DBD player for sometime now and very rarely have any gripes with how the game works. However as I get older I am getting issues with my hands and I've noticed that holding buttons, particularly things like bumpers and triggers on Xbox or PS controllers, are starting to give me pain.
I know the struggle system was recently changed from a constant press to the skill check system and I was wondering what people would think of things like gen repairs, totem breaks etc. Being changed to a 'press to initiate' function. Skill checks would work the same but moving away from the generator/chest/totem etc would automatically cancel the action rather than having to hold and let go of the button. Similarly you press to run but when you stop moving you go back to walking until pressed again.
I'm not sure if something like this would be implementable but I think it would be a great accessibility feature and maybe even be a choice given it doesn't change the overall experience.

Yes please!!!
there was actually a bug that let you kinda do it (you needed to do the action and enter the menu where you can leave or see map and player names, return to normal match without pressing the button and you would do the action without a button pressed); but they fixed it 😪
i had high hopes this meant they are working on an actual feature for this… and I am still hoping

Glad to see I'm not the only one who feels like they would benefit from it. I wonder how possible it is to do though.
