Lost ability for entire match as the cenobite

Playing on PC, was in the map lampkin playing as the cenobite. Was stunned by a pallet while in chain possession, afterwards, I was no longer able to use summons of pain to create a gateway and use the chain ability. I was still able to teleport when the survivors were solving the lament configuration.
