Block steam profiles with VAC bans from matchmaking
This las month the amount of cheaters I've encountered has been impressive. Survivors running slightly faster than 100%, others blatantly flying, instant heals (without the medkit), insta gens... and other subtle cheats like wallhacks wich good luck proving that without a 20 page essay and everything recorded from multiple angles.
Since banning the cheaters is apparently not an option, we should be able to select an option (like the crossplay one) to disable matchmaking against and with people with VAC bans on their steam account.

it dosent work like that, in order to do that they would have to use Valve anti cheat program (which they aren't)

I'm pretty sure it wouldn't be that much of an issue to make a script that checks peoples steam profile for their ban historial.

Except most of the cheaters use alt accounts on family share to get the game and dlcs for free on as many accounts as they like, continuing to use the same cracked client, and havent been VAC banned yet. If you've been VAC banned for Dead By Daylight, you cannot play Dead By Daylight in any online capacity. Being VAC banned in another game isn't a guarantee of being a cheater in DBD, though it is more likely.
Ultimately, it would be a giant waste of time.

I guess lobbies in games like TF2, garry's mod...etc that have a box to block people with vac bans in their account are just wasting their time doing that. People that have cheated in the past are much more likely to continue cheating.

I don’t think this would fix anything. Only anecdotal, but every cheater I’ve faced has had a clean profile with a bio that says something along the lines of “Report me if you want, this is my 6th account”. LOL.

Dead by Daylight uses EAC, not VAC lmao.
