Flashlights NEEDS a buff

Just got done watching youtube videos on how to use the flashlight. Have been able to use it occasionally able to use it correctly. I started a game with a few new friends and equipped a flashlight to help them. I used the best purple flashlight with rare perks. I cant believe how easy it is for a killer to just look away and look back and avoid flashlight blinds! OH MY LYANTA! If you are going to require a huge skill of 1. hitting a moving target in the face 2. you are moving at the same time 3. have to hit them right in the eye then why are they only blinded for maybe a second and a half?!?!

Personally, I think you should always blind for 1.5 secs if the flashlight even flashes them at all OR if you require this timing then blind them for 5 seconds so its a guaranteed escape. The skill to benefit ratio makes no sense at all for using a flashlight. I know I am raging right now but can anyone explain this to me? Why is it so hard for such a small benefit???

I will recognize that if I am able to use it at the right time during a pickup animation it will always feel "broken" but this seems like a simple fix with immunity during the animation or something. In all honesty, does anyone think the flashlights are perfectly balanced as is?

    The flashlight is allready easy. You need to flash the killer during the pick up animation as he can't dodge then. There is literally no way any killer will get blinded by the flashlight while they're not stuck in an animation...

    Create a flashlight Addon that widens it by 200%, intensifies it by 100%, and consumes its charges by three times the rate.

    Or just create an Addon that turns the flashlight into a flashbang, whichever works.

    Flashlights have been terribly OP for ages.
    Just recently they had been put into their place.

    For the record I was joking, but flashlights work just fine for their uses, though I still think it'd be funny if the Survivors had a flashbang one time use, just like a brand new part or syringe thingy. Maybe Lightborn would be a bit more useful :3

    Though, what I really think would be neat is a smoke bomb that spews fog, that'd be real kool and effective. Killer's could get some thermal goggles in return. Yeaaaaaah, fun times.

    The timing of a blind is fine in chase, but i think they should speedup the blind a little bit in the pickup animation, because right now it kill more then it save.

    I think the developers were going for the idea that flashlights work when the killer is unprepared, but how do you make the killer unprepared when the blind takes so long and the animation for blinding is so obvious?
