The trapdoor

When the game starts the trapdoor spawns invisible, but spawns and if you find it you will notice that your character steps on something invisible like fliying, that is supposed to be a bug?

It happens every game, ive been encountering it since the update on the hatch looks and when they added the hatch spawn offerings.
I was told the Blight can even bounce on it and there are multiple areas like that in the map, until a hatch spawns.
