Hag: Please remove flashlight interactions with traps.
If you go against survivors where 2, 3, or all 4 have flashlights it's gg. You're a 110% m1 killer. You can stun Wraith while he's cloaked with a flashlight, used to be able to prevent Nurse from blinking with one too.
This is too much though, your power is not only removed with barely any effort, it's also a magic aura reading ability on all traps in the area around them any time they click it. Like #########?
There's already an absolute tonne of counter play and cheeky stuff you can do, crouching over traps, setting off the "wrong" trap mid chase, setting off all the traps while she's carrying someone, setting off a trap from the edge of the trigger range and running away because she's powerless if she teleports and you know it's coming / have already made a tonne of distance. Baiting out hits out of teleport using the above method, etc..
Please, don't make killers completely powerless just because survivors brought an item. It's bad enough the survivors have the best perks, they can already bully via so many other ways, why keep this relic of an interaction around.

Fortunately, Hag is one of the few killer's where Franklins is legitimately good since you can trap the item.
The argument is kinda dumb when used as a defense for wraith's lightburn, but in this case, I think it's fine

4 flashlights with franklin's doesn't work against SWF though. Whoever has a flashlight or has picked one back up will burn the traps for everyone else to get their flashlight back and it's a neverending cycle of just nonstop loud noise notifications.
That is straight up broken. You have no power against a 4 flashy SWF because they'll just cover the guy without a flashlight to pick one back up and then on the cycle goes of traps disappearing.
Also yea, the traps light up red like an aura whenever you shine your flashlight, you can just click it at loops and avoid the traps on the other side of the pallet or on choke points like hallway intersections on Midwich, etc.
There's already an absolute tonne of counter play against Hag even without flashlights, and BHVR said they didn't want items/perks just completely shutting down killer powers iirc. Wraith at least has a chance to get behind some kind of cover before getting burned and moves at regular m1 killer speeds otherwise. Hag already takes time to set up traps and without them she's pretty terrible lol.

Items and perks disabling a killers power is dumb, but so is Hag so I hope they change nothing.

I just don't understand how hag has so many traps with such a large radius PLUS teleporting. Poor trapper is just bargain basement hag.

Unfortunately Hag is just Hag.
Very unfun to face and play as imo. She's either really good and every chase is frustrating because you set off random traps or she's trash and camps.

Practically speaking, usually the hags I go against just cluster traps around hooks and occasionally generators. they have so many traps and don't even have to gather them or anything. I again mention that trapper is only really a ######### hag. Hag has more traps. Hag doesn't have to pick up traps. Hag can teleport to traps. How is trapper even viable with hag as another killer? Can anyone tell me any advantage of playing trapper over playing hag? I think that hag traps should be even easier to defuse.

Lol that's a good way to lose as Hag, basically the same thing as face camping. Set a wide net and try to herd survivors. Trapper has their own tools so it's not a totally fair comparison with Hag because his traps can't just be flashlighted, crouched over, or set off on purpose mid-chase/carry by the half dozen. His traps also injure for you, no cooldown, no chase, just immediately injured AND immobilized if they didn't disarm it or dead hard over it. The downside is he can't carry 10 at a time and has to pick them up in the level.

Right, but I still see those as disadvantages... But sure, you do get trapped by trapper traps (did I just type that??), so sure, that's an advantage. But hag just seems way better as a 'trap killer'. And teleporting to the traps that you set off during chase seems at least just as useful as immobilizing the survivor with trapper traps...

Yeah I'm not saying one is way better or worse, I'm just saying they have different strengths and it's not a straight forward comparison. I strongly think that commonly available items shouldn't straight up remove/counter killer powers. It feels especially bad on killers that have to waste time "setting up" their power just to have it all gone in just a couple seconds.

I'd be OK with it if the hag maxed at say, 5 traps. But as it stands, they can put so many traps that it ends up not mattering. You'd spend so much time nullifying them that they become a delaying tactic for, let's say, unhooking.

How long is it taking you to delete traps lol, any loop that's trapped is nearly instantly safe
0 -
Well, when there's like 6 around a hook and then you unhook.... But, truth be told, I don't bring flashlights a lot anyway, so my ire mostly comes from having to squat past traps and then having them activate on unhook.
0 -
They won't activate on unhook if you hold crouch lol, straight up. You can still interact with whatever you want, heal, repair, unhook, cleanse totems, it's specifically running/sprinting next to a trap that sets it off.
0 -
Tell that to the people I'm unhooking. I crouch up to them, unhook them and they jump down and run through all the traps.

Maybe MMR will give you less braindead teammates, one can dream. When I play killer survivors are invincible bodyblocking maniacs that pre-drop every pallet while their buddies slam gens. When I play survivor they're braindead half the time urban evasioning lol. Granted I'm only r6 survivor, r1 killer :/

Tired of having the traps by a hooked survivor getting flashed away? Hag is, after all, the queen of camping.

"Please remove my counterplay so I can camp harder"

Hag isn't just for camping, the traps can be used creatively around drops and loops. Also, there's an absolute ######### load of counter-play aside from brute forcing it with flashlights that aura read all your traps and delete them faster than you can place them lol.
