Generator Kicks Killer Back Bug

Was playing Trickster on Lery's Memorial Institute on PC and couldn't kick the generator by the exit gate on this side. It would make me jump away. Could kick the other side fine though.
On a funny note I guess the generator had enough of all the killer's kicking it that it's payback time now.
