Hangman’s Trick buff idea
Survivors within 20 meters have their auras shown At the start of the match a random hook will not be able to be sabotaged, after somebody is hooked that hook becomes unbreakable (can’t sabotage it) this perk has no cool down. This perk can only be on one hook at a time.
EDIT: Breakdown (Jeff’s perk) is the only perk to counter this, but afterwards the hook will become unbreakable until another hook is affected.

That the thing they try to buff the perk but the perk was too strong and could compete with bbq so they nerf it instead so they did all that work for nothing. Unless they really want to sell more jigsaw dlc i dont think they are going to touch those perk again.

Bhvr's policy is if it isnt breaking everything dont fix it and if it is breaking everything fix it when peoplnstart complaining. As cool of an idea as it is. It wont happen

Honestly all it needs is to make hook sabotaging take like 5s longer or something

Not a fan I think it should just be a anti sabo perk and a perk to respawn hooks after a sacrifice

6 meters is honestly fine, hangmans trick is good against SWF where it tells you if someone is ready to sabotage a hook. The only buff it should need IMO is giving a killer permanent aura reading on hooks in general(not survivors near hooks, just the hooks).
You already see the hook aura when someone is on it, you already get a notification after a hook is sabotaged. The only benefit it would gain is that you know what hooks are available to you before you down the survivor. That way you can create a pre-planned path before you even pick up a survivor.

Yeah I like this idea better, I also had that idea. I'd definitely run Hangman's if this happened to be the way it is.

6 meters is trash. I couldn't even see the person upstairs in the Killer shack while I was in the basement with someone. Hangman's Trick is easily one of the weakest perks in the game.

They should revert part of it (longer sabo)
Cause by the time you get the notification it's already sabo'd

I would make em that the hook you sabotaje injures you.Its very situational so it must be a strong effect.

respawning hooks after a sacrifice is like permanent basement on all hooks, it would be really op to be able to sacrifice survivors and then hook somebody on the same hook

That is what the old Hangman's Trick did, and it was considered extremely niche at best.

Not only that you can only run 4 perks so one perk is dedicated to not losing your hooks

I would be very happy if they increased the aura reading radius. Not by a lot... Just by 2 - 4 meters. So you would have an 8 - 10 meter radius around each hook.
Maybe increase sabo time by 1s. It maybe doesn't sound like a lot, but in my experience, that would be HUGE.

20m is way too generous. I wouldn’t mind if it was up to 12m most, and sabotaged hooks respawn twice as fast or something.
