Killer matches crashing on PS5

So with pinhead's launch and the new update i've noticed some type of new exploit that completely crashes the match you're playing in and makes you disconnect. I've never had this issue before so im assuming it managed to get in with the new update, I.E While i was playing Pinhead i was about to hook a survivor but I guess he dc'ed or used an exploit while i was hooking him and it made the match crash, at first i thought it was my connection but it wasn't and it was frequently happening when hooking survivors but then also after I basic attacked a survivor in a different match and it happened again making playing as killer unplayable.
