We need rewards for being good/getting better
DbD is not a simple game. Players spend thousand of hours to learn new things and hone their skills. A player with only some hundred hours is considered new and even veteran players needs to invest a lot of time to learn a new killer and the countermeasures.
But with the Implementation of the MMR you have nothing to show. Before that you could have atleast ridiculous winsrates, but now its in theory always around 50%. Doesnt matter how good you are. While i think its a good chance to have fair matches, there is now no incentive to get better. No reason to learn how dbd works and nothing to show.
I know that its not everyone, who needs something like that. But there are many players, who want to improve in a game, see their progress and show their skill. Many of them are dbd veterans, who supported this game for years. And giving this players something to strive for, doesnt hurt the rest of the playerbase.
Seeing your own rating would be a good start and rewards for your skill would be even better. Please give this player group a reason to get better and a goal to reach.

I agree. Some of the biggest complaints about this game are how there are so many trolls and people who throw the game or are just downright terrible.
MMR Rewards would give players an actual REASON to want to get better and rank up in the game.

From this and the archives survivors will be throwing matches left right and centre

For survivors, The only thing that the current MMR system rewards you with is Less variety in killers to play against. You'll be able to tell when your MMR gets higher because you will be seeing an increase in killers using pure Slowdown builds, and just Spirits, blights, nurses etc over and over.
Then what will happen? Survivors will throw the game to decrease MMR and go against baby killers and killers who are more fun to play against. Because what's the point of trying to play well and survive when the only reward you get is boredom and frustration.

Why should survivor throw matches bc of this? And killer need to throw bc of archives, too.

Mainly certain challenges like unhooks or hatch escapes. As for MMR some might throw to get easier killers so they can have fun in the chase

Yh some will throw, smurf etc. But that has nothing to do with rewards or a visible rank. Rewards would even be a good countermeasure.
People dont downrank bc they see they have a high MMR. They downrank if they dont want a hard match. And you dont need to see your rating to downrank. Being afk or playing bad is no science.
