PC - Completing a bloodweb, server error kicks to title screen, resets bloodweb, consumes points.

Step 1 : Spending bloodpoints on Pinhead's bloodweb.
Step 2 : Finish that bloodweb (currently at level 50)
Step 3 : Game kicks me out to the title menu with the logo, the one you have to initialize to get to the actua main menu.
Step 4 : Went back to Pinhead's bloodweb, it had fully reset the one I had just completed, but did not refund the bloodpoints I had spent to do so.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Frequency of the issue:
Fairly rare, it's only happened a handful of times with different killers and survivors. Although I thought it used to refund the bloodpoints spent on that bloodweb when an error reset it.
