Destroyed pallet idea

Okay, you know how after you destroy one of the new pallets the broken pallet pieces is just the old model that we had prior?
Instead of fixing it and making the pallet shrapnel look like the new pallet, why not take the opportunity to spice it up for each killer? Like, make the pieces move when the killer walks through them, or maybe have the entity consume the pieces. You could even have killer powers effect the pallet shrapnel.
Just a thought. Creativity!
