Allow alternatives to rapid input actions on console

I can already sense the disapproval from some members of the community, and let me be clear from a theme standpoint things I like having to rapidly press the struggle button to avoid being sacrificed, but the problem is for people with severe joint pain these kinds of game-play moments are either impossible or incur success at the cost of pain to follow days later.

While I am personally unaffected by this issue, whenever I can get my wife to play DbD with me its always GG for her on second hook unless she wants to be in pain the next day or so, that's even if her joints will tolerate more than 5 or six rapid presses.

Yes adaptive controllers exist, but I just don't feel it would be out of the question to just allow users to hold down the button as long as it was exactly as effective as a rapid button press would, and it just kind of sucks to have to buy a whole separate controller (especially with the price of adaptive controllers) just to accommodate one small portion of the overall game.

Well, I’ll be the first to make this thread bigger. They denied holding it down before because people just wanted it. Maybe attention to situations like this will change their mind
