Disconnecting from game servers if a survivor dies due to the end game collapse

I was playing on PC against cross platform players
Step 1 : Play as any killer
Step 2 : Down them just before the end collapse finishes
Step 3 : Pick up the survivor
Result: When you go to drop the survivor so the auto die you will be disconnected from the game and it will take several tries Once reconnected I had the leaver penalty counting down with about 3 minutes left. to reconnect to the server.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- Character played - Nemisis
- Perks played - Discordance - Thanataphobia - Nurse's calling - Leathal pursuer
- Map -Blackwater Swamp
Frequency of the issue - Seemingly every game but needs further testing
