Oh yeah, he's got tier. Especially when the flashlight wielding Meg burns my ass all game while David teabags right next to her. I love that #########. XD 🥲

This thread came from back before they nerfed Wraith. He actually was really good in those beautiful few months if you used his uncloak-and-lunge as an anti-loop tool. Dunno if I would have called him A tier, but definitely on the better side of B.

Of course, now I can only long for those sweet summer days.

That said, you're not wrong. New players can't deal with Wraith because they're not good at playing alert and planning out their escape routes in advance, so they give tons of free hits or even end up bodyblocked into corners. New players are also much more likely to hold W than to loop (effectively), and Wraith eats up distance like it's nothing. But once you know how to handle Wraith in chase, there's little he can do to stop you, and trying to use his power to get an edge on loops will usually just waste his time.

Well don't worry Wraith is C or D tier now with the Wraith nerfs and Boon totems.

Hit and run is Dead, the moment you hit them they run to a boon to heal.w

His lunge is really short now.

    lol what?

He is C tier at higher level play. I don't have a good time with him right now (i main him since over a year). Against good survivors his usual style of play is easily counterable (Otz said it already). I used to stomp casual noobs in old matchmaking with him but since MMR got activated i have a bad time.

Boons are a hard counter against him, his lunge got nerfed some weeks ago and his anti loop is non-existent because of that. Yes you can get easy first hits but only if survivors are not aware and have no ressources. His speed does not much, i don't know why people get so hard about that. There are so many ressources around the map that every capable survivor just wastes your time. I feel like i have to play at least 2 slowdowns or Devour/ 1-hit perks plus best add ons to have a chance.

EDIT: oh sorry i just saw this is an old ass thread before his nerf and before MMR and boons.

Fearmonger though it may not be too strong it can be abit annoying even if its just 10 seconds blind+ exhaust got its hard vs a killer that has speed type things and you cant even sprint away from stalker at that point hehe.

We’ll this aged terribly. I don’t always enjoy facing Wraith. But even I know he didn’t need to be nerfed

He was a bit too strong. He got a much needed nerf.

His lunge was cut tho, its way less reliable. They want us to go for the hit and run tactic
