Escaping Killer Grasp

Squad family, any chance you could take a gander at this absolute nonsense? Getting away from the killer up on the shoulder is a bad time, with some minimal win odds. There's a hook every ten feet and the wiggle time is a most un-fresh hour to get away. Please fix, much love.

The mechanic wasn't intended to let survivors get away with any consistancy. It only exists for the reason to make sure the Killer can't carry you to the basement all the time, hold the game hostage, chase survivors while carrying you and give sabo a purpose.

Its more of a failsafe than anything.

Run Boil Over, and Streetwise to help other Survivors make better use of their flashlight rescue attempts.

Today I just took my toolbox, jake the saboteur and destroyed 3 hooks in front of killers face and ran in an angle. Evaded his grass two times. After laughing my ass off for pissing him he decided to actually put me in an event hook when I fuckd up going a way from my sabod hooks.

One of the best laughs I had in this game so yeah, after the position changes and sabo buffs you can totally screw him over if you plan it ahead. Same next game breaking a hook in front of the spirit

She looked kinda sad but it felt good. Solo survivor btw

Hard to believe I'm seeing this post during a hook event. Everybody should have wiggled out alot with killers focused on the blight hooks.

Its meant to be rare to get off the killer's shoulder. Do you think you could wiggle off of a 7 foot tall, 300 pound supernaturally powered serial killer's shoulder?

Why not? After you finish wetting yourself the shoulder should be slippery enough.
Seriously though, Don't short change killers cause you went down near the hook.

If it were easy to get off the shoulders, the killer would be screwed, and even more so in events like this.

It takes about 16 seconds, IIRC to wriggle off with no modification.

You do realize it buys you time, too? When you wiggle, it veers the killer in a different direction. Makes them run into trees, walls, corners, etc.

Not much else to say that has not already been said in this thread. Case in point your not supposed to have good odds at wiggling off the killers shoulder. The mechanic primarily exists so that the killer will not take you to the basement everytime while also giving the killer a sense of urgency to get you on a hook. The request you are making is unreasonable. Once you are caught the killer has earned his catch and only a miracle should save you from his grasp.

An addition to all the above, one victim =/= one killer. Being an asymmetrical game, it should require teamwork to get off the killers shoulder. 4 victims = 1 killer

These posts are ridiculous. @ChesterTheMolester has the best explanation for why these posts have no purpose.
