Let Me KIll Myself On The Ground
I am so tired of being slugged on the ground for 4 minutes. Please give me the option to end my suffering without DCing.

I’ll be fine with this as long as it certain conditions are met, like if you’ve been on the ground for at least 2 consecutive minutes. Although I’m not sure how this will work lore wise.

Why not just let the man end his suffering? You can already do it on hook. What is the difference?
5 -
So what if you get downed first early in the match and because you don’t like the killer you can just ######### right there? Survivors would abuse that hard.
7 -
If you want this why not have a notification given to the killer if you are on the ground for a certain amount of time. They will get notified, find you and hook you. Game over.
4 -
What? No. I have lots of faith in the survivor community, they would never!
2 -
Sometimes killers will be a dick though and just wait until the survivor bleeds out. That’s one of the few cases where I don’t blame a survivor for leaving the match.
9 -
Exactly!
2 -
That would work if the issue wasn't that you were intentionally slugged by the killer and left there to bleed out in four minutes. If the killer wanted to hook you, you would be hooked, and not slugged at all or for as long.
4 -
How about if you've been in the dying state for X consecutive minutes, you can recover to the injured state with Hindered, Mangled, Hemorrhaging, Deep Wound, and cannot hide in lockers, fast vault, or run until healed.
3 -
If they know where you are and don't hook you they are wasting your time and theirs. Which is why the timer is there. The current system works fine.
1 -
So a free second chance perk? Lol.
2 -
I think if you've been on ground long enough to get 3 crows you should be able to increase your bleed out speed. If you have 3 crows your teammate(s) isn't coming for you and the killer is just wasting your time. 4 minutes is such a long time to do nothing.
3 -
That's the issue, they're wasting everyone's time! So why would you oppose a system or mechanic that mitigated that at least a little? Too many people have been slugging and letting everyone bleed out because it's a cheap and easy win, that's what has been happening recently.

What about this idea...
- A new button prompt while Dying: Give Up.
- Holding down the button for this prompt speeds up your dying by a certain amount, and that amount grows as you keep holding it.
- So just as an example: If you are Dying and start holding the button for the new prompt, you'll die 10% faster.
- Once [VALUE] seconds have passed, you'll die 20% faster.
- Once [VALUE] seconds have passed, you'll die 30% faster, etc. etc.
- This would NOT be capped at 100%, and it would not be capped at all.
- So (and this is still part of the example) after reaching half your Dying health, you might be dying 200% faster than usual, so you'll hit death pretty soon if you still keep holding it.
- Recovering would reset the percentage back to the first stage, which would be 10% in the example.
I just like throwing out ideas! 😄

i agree, its dumb that slugs cant just choose to die
obviously it should only be after a requirement is met (like slugged to half your bar or something)

Because the potential for abuse from the survivor side is even higher then the rate of 4 min intentional slug deaths. Killers don't pip if they don't get hooks and alot of them. The MMR system surly does not look kindly on multiple bleed outs because it means less chases, hooks and sacrifices. Slugging is a viable tactic sometimes and fair because its very counterable with perks and group cooperation. Killing yourself in any case is a DC with a nicer name.
1 -
Nope, this is a waste of survivor time. The killer is free to keep on playing and enjoying his game.
4 -
I do not think this should be allowed to happen. I think if all but one person is slugged and the last one goes down the 1st one should pop up to injured. And maybe only last survivor has option to end their life if slugged, since there is no one left to get them up. Or just build it in that all killers can mori the last survivor, that would put a halt to that toxic, slug griefing.
1 -
The entity enjoy you to be on the ground he feed on your hope to be free after 4 mins on the floor.
1 -
They should make a perk called cyanide where the survivor can pop it on the ground after 1 minute of torment. Behavior loves fixing fundamental game design problems with perks, so I think his idea is very realistic. Simply manifold Olivia.
2 -
The operant word there being "potential". This current system has the "potential" to be abused and right now CAN and IS being abused. Plus, I don't think we're working with the same information. What you're saying is unrealistic, because yes in the absolute perfect scenario you're running with perks and a team to specifically counter slugging. Also, yes slugging is a tactic that I recognize, but the problem you're not recognizing is that it's being abused by many killers right now.
People who do this don't care about the emblem system, and pretending that they do is just willful ignorance to the problem at hand. I am of the mind that this behavior is holding the game and the players hostage because right now what are you expected to do if they decide to just let you die on the ground? In fact, I'd say the emblem system as nothing to do with it because a killer can easily decide to hook everyone as much as they want and then leave them on the ground.
That's abusing a system. Do you understand at all what I'm trying to say?

It seems like the current MMR system literally doesn't care about anything other than time spent in the match and amount of kills.
So yes, it would look kindly upon bleeding everyone out since it takes for-goddamn-ever.
There's literally no reason to not implement ways to stop gremlins from wasting everyone's time.
2 -
I can see the merit behind that. It's just a problem when the slugging isn't being used as a tactic for pressure, it's used to make every survivor a captive for four minutes.
1 -
How about if you've been in the dying state for X consecutive minutes, you can recover to the injured state with Hindered, Mangled, Hemorrhaging, Deep Wound, Incapacitated and cannot hide in lockers, vault, drop pallets, run, or escape through the exit gate until healed.

Just had a match that the survivors got mad at me for slugging but the only reason why I did was so I didn't tunnel them since I hooked them last and drew out their teammate that stayed super immersed without helping them lmao

This already exists it's called the crows
1 -
They should just increase the amount you bleed out while crawling. Crawl more and you die faster.
0 -
Fail a chase and just deal with the results. Matches don't need an easy out button.
2 -
get rid of hatch and id be ok with this
2 -
Because survivors already DC off first hit or they suicide on hook. The only thing it would change is it would allow survivors out of a toxic match. I say, after 1 minute of being slugged, a survivor can suicide. That's the same time you can suicide on hook.

And slugged for a ridiculous amount of time for a 4k. I'm not a fan of killers being that desperate they'll leave someone on the ground forever.
I'll start a slug for a 4k with two remaining survivors, but if I don't see the last person fairly quick, I just go back to the slug.

I am making a chapter right now. And thx to you I have an idea for the perk.
0 -
I use tenacity so how about you go get hooked and die for me instead? Not kill me off?
0 -
Doesnt need to, its a qol not a gameplay feature
0 -
I use Tenacity too, but you don't have to crawl the entire time you use it. If anything have it slow the timer down while it's in use. It makes a lot more sense than a "kill me" button.

I am blendette they never find me when I crawl away. I believe that if you bleed out past 40% you should have the ability to die, Because while I believe slugging is a FAIR way to play even though I hate it. I don't think that the killer shouldn't hook at some point so after 40% bleed out killing your self should be allowed, but reduces your overall performance to one pip to maintain your grade because it does harm the group and because you has to pick this method. The points for your death to the killer should be substantially reduced because the entity wouldn't be pleased about bleed outs but this has to be worked in properly because killers like the pig have traps and that could in fact be mistaken as a bleed out probably due to the type of coding used.

Bribg Unbreakable and or soulguard you will never get left alone again
0 -
Unbreakable only works once, Soul Guard only works while "YOU" are directly affected by a hex, once the hex is gone so is the ability to get up. Only no mither does this infinitely with no requirements but let's be honest No mither equal insta hook. So unbreakable once, No mither in it's current state with no 100% iron will and one initial hit before the killer knows your using no mither you will just be a meat slab, soul guard yes but if no hex? I MYSELF find slugging fair but I run a build not centered around a hex for that very reason but my build requires me to hook as well so they aren't down for long.
0 -
The soul guard also makes you invulnerable for a bit
0 -
Yes but that is after healing and revival from the dying state this is constant with out a hex required if I recall right that alone gives it some use.

If survivors have the option to die on the ground, and it scores for the killer the same as if they killed themselves on hook (which they already do), I don't think this is a terrible idea from a fairness perspective -- it sucks for their teammates, but I don't think it sucks more than if they killed themselves on hook.
The one issue I see is that this potentially becomes the new way of DCing on the ground to spite someone by denying them their stacks, only without the DC penalty.
0 -
What about for the teammates of the survivor?
0 -
no mither exists
0 -
??
0 -
Only if this option counts for the killer as a resultive outcome (+bloodpoints in amount as if you were hooked).
0 -
Just don't crawl to a corner or hiding spot the killer can't find you.
As killer I really don't understand the survivors that crawl away and hide when everyone is dead.
As survivor I literally havn't slugged to death in over a year because if I am the last survivor I just slug out the open where the Killer will find me. The last time I ever slugged to death was when the Killer legitimately waited till I bled out, and that's been so long.
