Possessed Chain
I've gotten pretty good at using it. The secret I've found is to open the portal right up against them and let loose by spamming the trigger. It works 95% of the time, however, i almost NEVER get value out of it.
If you ask me, the chains break way too fast.

I generally use mine at very small,tight loops. It either makes the survivor abandon the loop or they get slowed enough for me to walk around and get a hit. It's also good if you catch a survivor off guard since it can hold them long enough for you to get within striking distance before they can run to their safety spot.

totally agree. and all the add-ons that make them go further are useless.

Yeah...would rather swap out a couple of those speed and distance add-ons for ones that makes chains a bit harder to break at least. Sometimes they just break way too damn fast and I end up getting no value from them at all =/
