This is broken in the current tome. Apparently when you do a search there have been at least 3 version of this challenge. It has been broken for years along with several other challenges. Please either fix it or just take it out. It can be as simple as putting in a survive 1 challenge as Dwight instead in these spots and ... fixed... or you could actually fix something that has been busted for years.
In the current tome though it is an issue because it blocks the survivors most common path to complete the tome so everyone is going to hit that wall.
