SBMM should show killers are overpowered

RPD for me (IMO) I actually don't find totem placements to bad but, that's just me

Glad we agree

Maybe you're just not that good at the game. (ITs a hard pill to swallow but seriously its not that hard to run circles around a killer at the moment).
I'm not happy with the SBMM at the moment but its because the so called fairer matches have been anything but. Even after getting routinely destroyed I'm still not getting "easier" or "less sweaty games".
I'm not that good but SBMM doesn't seem to reflect that even after two weeks of solid game time.

"the killers all won"
I disagree, there is no defined win condition in dead by daylight you don't gain anything at the end of the match besides currency to keep you grinding, you only lose....wait losing also doesn't exist in this game!
Anyway this game is not about winning it's about having fun in a match...... wait....
why do we play this game again?

I have been getting usually even matches tilting in the survivor's favor and I enjoy the challenge because it's wonderful when they usually range red, gold and silver. I play a lot of killer by my survivor side isn't as great.

Finally someone who gets it.

I agree with you. The queue times for Killer are massive, which indicates that there's a whole lot of Killers or there's a large amount of Killers at my rank.
If the top half of MMR is only a few SWFs and the bottom half is a large amount of mostly Solos, then that shows that the majority of survivors can't compete at the same level as the majority of killers.
Longer queue times for the majority of killer players because there's only a few SWFs out there that can compete. While solo survivors are only able to compete against noob killers.

SBMM or Skill Based MatchMaking appears to not be based on ANYTHING really. It's just like what we had before. SBMM and MMR makes no sense in a game without defining what "skill" even is or what the win conditions are. It only seems to look at survivors either dying or surviving and their time alive, talking about "skill based"....

Maybe that is because as killer you can't lose MMR, because your team-mate is useless.
Your MMR is based only on your skill. Survivors often have handicap (another bad survivor).
So what should be looked at are not killer's slowdowns, because games at high MMR would go to even deeper ######### hole without them.
Problem is soloQ. I have been saying for some time. Just give soloQ information that is easily shared as SWF, so it doesn't suck that much for them.

You are clearly in a low mmr level. Gens are done in 4 minutes at high MMR.
And i'm saying this i'm a 50/50 player and was a survivor main for 3/4 of my time on the game.
Killers are so weak that if you play fair (no camp, no tunnel the whole trial), you will loose 100% of the games at high MMR. 100%.

I was watching a stream arguing something similar and people were justifying how EZ killer is. It clearly isn’t. Any valid argument in this community is reduced to “How many X hours have you played”. Even those who played for 5000+ hours experience the same dissatisfaction as someone who played 500 hours... Having many hours invested actually makes it worse!
From now on as killer I always camp the very first person I catch until second phase. I’ll tunnel anyone abusing BT to body block for the rescuer. Especially if I wasn’t camping the hooked person at the time. Killer isn’t supposed to play fair. Especially when survivors have a dozen second chance perks, crawl under pallets for a stu, set up flashlight saves, and abuse comms.
I play both sides. Survivor mains say that killers that camp/tunnel aren’t good. While playing killer I reverse survivor main logic…. If you don’t like being face camped by a killer simply get better at looping. You got camped because you made an error, and got caught. The killer shouldn’t have to walk away because YOU messed up.
If survivors want to rush 2 gens in 2 minutes I’ll make force someone to die in 2 minutes. 3 gens left. 3 survivors left. It’s fair see? Then I’ll use Trickster sometimes to guarantee that no saves w/o another down. I do nothing until 3 players remain. Then I start to chase players, kick the gens, etc. I get 3-4k every time I do this. Playing “nice” gets me 1k at most if not anything at all. It’s pointless to engage as killer when 4 survivors are running around. 😂

And as killer should show how op survivors are.
Nothing but the most top notch, competent, (prob streched res) unmind gameable survivors.
Nerf pig.

If a killer's MMR increases when they get kills, and a survivor's MMR increases when they escape, then a killer's MMR might rise even with a so-so match whereas a survivor's MMR will decrease when they did everything right but their teammates decided not to save them on their first hook. The lack of survivors in the high MMR brackets could mean the criteria is bad just as much as it could mean killers are overpowered.
Unless I play with four friends, my MMR will stay middling at best because I can't make up for two or three bad teammates. I'm going to die because I think locker hopping or crouching at the edges of the map is boring, so I'm the only one the killer can find, and keeping the killer in chase for 5+ minutes doesn't get the last gens done when no one's on gens.
When I play survivor, in 90% of my matches my teammates are the worst thing to happen to me. And if it takes escaping to increase my MMR, I'm [BAD WORD]ing screwed. I can only hope the Claudettes who stealth all match for the hatch and the Megs who 99% the door, leave it, don't take aggro, and are the only ones to escape continue to do that until their MMR is so high that I'll never have to see them again.

Personally, I am facing so many Ruin Undying that now I refuse to play these perks. They are a solo Q destroyer when combined, and on some killers, it's unbearable as solo surv (Nemesis, Spirit, Blight, PinHead (his chain hunt + ruin versus solo surv is busted), Nurse double range).
90% of my surv games has Ruin, and often Undying. "Do totem" yesss, sure, if you're unlucky, you just passed by and didn't see it. The fact that there are so many totems locations is making survivors searching every bit of area in the map, hurting the solo Q badly.
These two perks combined with powerful add-ons, sweatlords (more than before because of MMR), and the solo Q non-organisation, solo survivors have a bad time, an very bad time.
Before MMR I played a little bit more survivor because it is more casual than killer, but currently I feel more relaxed to play killer ..... And I play more killer now.

All streamers say exactly the same thing.
