Survivor Can't See Lament Configuration Aura Vs Pinhead

Just played against a Pinhead on Mother's Dwelling. He had Hoarder, Franklins, Ruin, Undying. Add ons were the green shorter chain hunt timer and the iri that hides the box aura outside 16 meters while chain hunt is inactive.
I was unable to see the aura of the box the entire match, even while chain hunt was active, and even while being within 16 meters. He had chain hunt going most of the match so I should have been able to see the yellow aura. The killer had nothing that would have caused the Blindness effect (if that even works on the box aura).
This is the first time I have encountered this bug but it is extremely annoying.
