New Items - An Item Rework

As a survivor, the one thing you really have to be super unique is to use items, but there isn't a lot of variability. My idea is a very simple one:

  1. Remove all variations of items. There will no longer be brown, yellow, green, and purple versions of items, just keep a solid version between yellow and green, and items are now all a silver (like legendary skins) rarity (with stats of about yellow or green versions of the items) so they are now a new unique color, and they will cost 4,500 bloodpoints in the bloodweb. Some Exceptions, like those listed below:
  2. Keys are now similar to a green key, but with the number of charges are pink keys. Keys are now an item for aura reading of living objects and not just for hatch escaping, like they are capable of now. The addons for it stay the same, but now there will be a new addon that allows for the opening of the hatch, which takes 12 seconds of an action to fully open it, including skillchecks similar to the yellow glyphs.Now there are only about 5 items in the game, but now I suggest we get new items as well, and I have some for suggestions. Things such as:

Hexed Skull - The skull of a survivor corrupted and consumed in the void.

Using the Item Button will place the Rune on the ground. If the killer walks over the Rune or within 3 meters, gain a noise notification, and gain aura reading on the killer for 5 seconds. Hexed Skull has 2 Charges.

Bandage - A small roll of bandages taken out of a discarded medkit

Holding the item button while injured will start the bandaging action. This action takes 6 seconds to use. Completing the action will cleanse any afflictions that are currently affecting you (Mangled, Hemorrhaged, broken, and blindness) Does not affect exhausted, incapcitated, oblivious, or any other specific afflictions to killers. A bandage will also stop your bleeding until the next time you are healed.

Vile of Pustula Serum - A vile left behind by a corrupted scientist

This Item acts as a one-time drop similar to a firecracker or flashbang. Dropping this item will shatter the vile, splashing serum over nearby surfaces. Dropping this vile near an interactable object (window, Pallet, gen, or breakable wall) will cause the entity to bloom over the object for 15 seconds, making them uninteractable for that duration. Once this duration is over, the flower corruption will die and disappear. Example: Pallet stun the killer then drop the vile, this will now block the pallet and force the killer to not be able to break it, but the survivor can no longer use the pallet either for the duration.

These were some of my ideas and I think there could be loads more, with this idea possibly remove useless addons per item, or maybe even take away a majority of addons in general. I would just love the idea of seeing more and different items, could be very unique.
