Two killers in match - hack or bug?

in Bug Reporting

Played as survivor in a public match. Saw Trickster in lobby in place of survivor. In match, Ghostface was actual killer and Trickster was also present. Both were taking down survivors. We were quickly killed. After the match, the match results showed us having 4 survivors. Think Trickster was an iridescent rank 1 survivor by the name of "Pride | Skrub". See attached picture and log file from the game.

Please make sure to report in game (it will be the survivor that not shown in game). And send any additional evidence to Support - https://support.deadbydaylight.com/hc/en-us/requests/new as this is not a bug.

    It's more of a hack than a bug. If it was a bug then that wouldn't have been possible.

    Something similar was possible in the past. There was an exploit that allowed you to get 2 killers when accepting an invite from a custom match while being killer.

    This has been patched long time ago but seems like they patched it client-sided.

    Nowdays, this is possible only by using cheats.

    Next time you face a cheater, try to record the gameplay and get the player's Steam-ID instead of the name or profile URL as they can be manipulated and changed.
