Prevent Stream Snipping
Before the game match begins. The killer cannot see the survivors usernames till Endgame. This would prevent the killer stream snipping a streamer. The only names they will see are the characters that they are playing.

The easiest way to prevent this is to not have TTV in your name. If you want people to come watch your stream, don't get mad if they take advantage of that lol

What's wrong having the username removed? Why should killers see survivor names? We can't see the killer name. It's only fair to remove the ability from the killer.

It's not about 'fair', it's about the delusion that a squaddette or Streamer Feng Gang can be told apart reliably without names in the midst of a trial.

You do know that killers still go after the same people even though they see the names. It would make no difference if they removed it.

Look at it from the good side: At least you will have a viewer for the duration of the match.

Why streamer just can't put Box on survivors and hide his name if he is afraid from sniping?

Why can't killers see the survivor names? They can wait till after game match to see the names of the survivors.

Streams are already delayed on purpose anyway. This is a very small segment to and exclusively streamers. So why?

The delay isn't as long as you might think. There's a lot of streamers that play DBD so it wouldn't be a small segment.

Still then don't run TTV in your name lol. I get it but still I don't have that level of focus to bother with that but some might. But I do understand.

It's the streamers fault and not the game's. If a streamer want to put a TTV in his name, then he should expect to get sniped and deal with it since he asked for it. If the streamers still want to advertise themselves then they can put a delay and a box to hide their perks, Ez.

Oh no I have been stream snipped oh it is surely not related to the giant words above my head shamelessly advertising my twitch channel that has 2 viewers surely not……..
