imma be real, we need some of the hexes converted into normal perks.

the massive amount of anti hex survivors have make a lot of them useless to use.

especially since killers don't have any hex defense besides from powers. which is a hit or miss.

thoughts?

Yeah, with boons, the jig is up. I would be happy to never see another hex again and I am personally not going to use them anymore.

Some of the weaker Hexes could become normal perks but there should be a way to get rid of their effects.

For example Third Seal is not very good and it could become a non-hex but they have to give the Survivors a way to get rid of their effect, maybe by getting healed, or fixing a gen for X amount of time or something else.

Others like Ruin, DH, NOED, Plaything or Crowd Control cant be made into normal perks without gutting them.

I think most hexes are simply too strong to be permanent, but retribution shouldn't be a hex really.

In fact, retribution should be a perk that lights all totems, hex or not, and reveals the aura of survivors who cleanse any totem or hex or bless one.

It's simply not strong enough to run by itself, and even alongside other hexes the strength isn't really immense. No reason it couldn't simply be a aura reading perk for any totem cleansed or blessed, and this would actually make it a fun and viable perk against boons, since reblessing would reveal auras again.

I almost feel like hexes would work better as an offering instead of a perk so that they could potentially be a bit stronger as it is right now for a hex build you basically have 2 or 3 perks for hexes and protection. You just end up having to go all in and hope the dealer gave you a valid placement spawn otherwise your perkless for the next 10 min

some might be harder to convert sure true, but i also don't think there effects would have too suffer. killers need strong perks too.

noed is always debatable, but crowd control would be fine as is if it were converted.

Honestly we need Undying to be a perk and the skill will only transfer one hex to a new totem until there are none left however it will only allow you to put one hex on in compensation but you also have to know this won't be OP, Small game, detective's hunch with a map will easily cause the single hex to bounce around from totem to totem until they are cleased and broken which means it will be a fair counter to boons if you ask me.

As it stands I find hexes obsolete and won't use them until they are made to last more than 5 seconds at the start of a game.

I honestly think that behavior is moving away from Hex totems where the killers are concerned and focusing on making their powers about the hooks. They already said Scourge hooks are just the beginning of specialty hooks that result in status effects for survivors so I expect the next killer to have some sort of hook perk. I agree that current hex perks are too strong not to offer the option to cleanse them.

On the flip side, it appears that survivor perks will be more focused on hexes. If the community is losing it over these two perks, which I think will be nerfed, and rightly so, we can expect to see more of the same in future releases.

i think the issue with that is with offering is killers may not ever get access to them or have them only a fraction of the time now. also removes the choice in actually using the hex when you want.

i honestly was never with the idea of undying, at least where it is now. always thought thrill was better. (but we know how that turned out).

but yeah undying as a way to force survivors to cleanse and go without their boon perks would be nice and would give more meaning to "just do bones". but only one seems a bit much. as either way you can have multiple with less uses, or one with more uses. both being temporary and just as breakable.

Third seal is amazing it's the actual only counter to totem hunting perks, an helps prevent healing each other for survivor's makes a huge focus on finding that totem over all other tasks a huge priority.
