RPD Hatch Won't Open With Key

Playing survivor on RPD.
2 survivors left.
Hatch Spawns.
Find Key in Chest; Chest that I just opened so ultra rare key has full charge, not empty.
Hatch spawn was behind the front desk in the main lobby.
No prompt to open hatch. Click while running all around it, on top of it, does nothing.

Do you remember if the key had any charges? Because keys can’t open hatches if there’s no charges.

Full charges, fresh from a chest. I was the one that opened the chest.
