This is a compilation of every change I want in dead by daylight.
Numbers beside a perk mean it has the listed effect added on
Bullet points mean a total rework
New content:
- Killers now have access to addons that spawn survivors together
- New status effect: deaf (does the same thing as flashbang and knock out)
Deep wounds
- Mending now has skill checks
- When suffering by deep wounds bleeding is increased (hemorrhage)
Luck
- Now affects item rarity from chests and if ace in the hole is equipped it increases rarity of addons found as well
Legion
- Hitting a survivor with a basic attack no longer depletes feral frenzy
- Missing a feral slash will no longer cancel feral frenzy but instead will decrease the power gauge by 2.5 seconds
- Feral frenzy detection range addons also increase speed (except Iri button)
- Brown smiley pin now makes feral frenzy attacks count as basic attacks (still cannot down survivors but will apply sloppy butcher, stbfl, etc.)
- For each survivor hit in feral frenzy decrease fatigue by 0.30 seconds
- Stab wound study shows survivors deep wound bar progress on the killer’s HUD
- Frank’s mixtape makes additional feral frenzy hits decrease the deep wound timer by 33%
- Decrease power recovery by 5 seconds
- Legion can see scratch marks and blood while in feral frenzy
- Iri button now increases detection range of feral frenzy to map wide instead of the terror radius
- Nasty blade now also increases chances of a deep wound skillcheck by 50%
- Filthy blade increases chances of getting a deep wound skillcheck by 75% and decreases the skillcheck size by 10%
Wraith
- Replace addon “All seeing blood” with new addon “Azarov’s gag’ which removes breathing sounds while cloaked
Hillbilly
- Remove roar from survivors perspective
- Speed limiter now removes overheat and reduces chainsaw movement speed by 30% (chainsaw can instadown with this addon)
- Dad’s boots addon basekit
Pig
- Remove blade sound when crouching/uncrouching
Huntress
- Soldiers puttee increases move speed to 117.5% and removes lullaby
Hag
- Can only place traps 8m or further from a hooked survivor
Michael Myers
- Evil within one counters spine chill and premonition
- Increase stalk limit on survivors
- New addon: Bob’s glasses: Evil within 2 counters spine chill and other non-aura killer detection perks
- Basic attack while in evil within 1 instantly fills power gauge to 99%
Deathslinger
- REVERT PTB NERFS
- Have a 0.75 second cooldown after lowering sights
- Replace addon ‘Honey Locust thorn’ with new addon, ‘fast acting gunpowder’ this addon will remove the ability to aim down sights and has the spear gun fire instantly after pressing the power button
- Replace addon ‘Wanted poster’ with new addon ‘Extended chain’ this addon will increase the speargun range by 4 meters
- Jaw smasher now decreases lowering sights cooldown by 0.4 seconds
- Prison chain addon will now increase charges required to break the chain by 30 chargers (was 10) and will decrease the chains range by 1 meter
- Gold creek whiskey now grants the undetectable status while aiming and decreases ADS movement speed by 7%
- Marshal’s badge now grants the undetectable status effect for 8 seconds when the chain is broken (either by the slinger or the survivor)
- Replace addon ‘Rickety chain’ with new addon ‘double barrel speargun’ this addon makes the speargun shoot two spears to the left and right with a 10 degree angle between each chain and the center of the sights. Grants 100% more points for speared score events
- Hellshire iron now reveals the auras of survivors who have been speared for 6 seconds after they are no longer speared and will reveal their aura for 3 seconds when they come within 4 meters of another survivor without mending
- Survivors are given the deaf status effect for 5 seconds if they are within 8 meters of the gun being fired
Nemesis
- Tremendously decrease the speed boost survivors get from infection
- Survivors get no speed boost when infected by a zombie
- Swap plant 43 and marvin’s blood rarities
- Hitting a zombie with tentacle strike while in tier 3 gives the zombie a speed boost of +1m/s
- Added effect to Ne-a parasite: increases the speed boost zombies receive from a t3 tentacle strike by 50%
- Licker tongue now exhausts survivors who are hit by tentacle strike for 30 seconds
- Add ability to roar and call all zombies who are not chasing a survivor to current location
- Zombies who get stuck die and respawn instantly
Pinhead
- Lament configuration skillchecks are the same as a yellow glyph
- Have Doug Bradley do the voicelines
Perks
Dead hard
- No longer removes collision
No mither
- Reduces noises caused by injury by 100%
- You don’t drop blood orbs vs oni but the oni can collect half the power gauge by hitting you (same as if he were to hit a healthy survivor)
- Grants 100% bonus blood points after the trial to all survivors (stackable)
Self care
- Now you can self care at 33% the normal healing speed
Calm spirit
- Added the effect of Falling from a high place is silent
- Breathing noise is decreased by 100%
Sole survivor
- Gain tokens from disconnected survivors
- Perk lights up when your aura is being hidden from the killer
Up the ante
- Increase luck bonus to 4% per living survivor
- Increases chests by 1
Technician
- Removes healing and generator skill checks
Left behind
- Gain a token for every dead, disconnected or sacrificed survivor
- 1 token: all other survivors see your aura within a 32 meter radius
- 2 tokens: solo generator repair speed is increased by 10% and healing speed is increased by 15%. This effect applies to all survivors.
- 3 tokens: the aura of the hatch is revealed to you within a 32 meter radius and the time scratch marks stay visible is decreased by 2s
Borrowed time
- Applies to self unhook
Wake up!
- When a generator is completed you wake up and are given a 7% haste status effect for 10 seconds
Vigil
- Regain exhaustion 50% slower when running and 15% faster while crouching or standing still
Stake out
- Increase maximum stacks by 1
Boil over
- The hook aura blocking effect has a larger range of 24 meters
Autodidact
- Increases healing skillcheck chances by 50%
Distortion
- Start the trial with one token
- Being in a chase for 20 seconds allows you to gain one token up to a maximum of 3 tokens
Flip flop
- Increase conversion rate from 50% to 100% up to a maximum of 50% wiggle progress
Buckle up
- Allows all survivors to recover to 99%
- Healing a survivor from the dying state gives them a 150% movement speed bonus for 2 seconds and exhausts you for 30 seconds (this exhaustion will stack so if you pick up 2 survivors you will have 60 seconds exhaustion)
- This perk will activate while you are exhausted
Mettle of man
- If you are hit by 3 basic attacks the perk activates
- Once activated, the next time that you would put you into the dying state is ignored
- The next time you heal back to full health your aura will be revealed to the killer when you are farther than 16 meters from the killer for 10 seconds
- Mettle of man will lose all progress if you are put into the dying state
- Mettle of man deactivates the next time you are put into the dying state
- Being hit while mettle of man is active will cause you to become the obsession
- Increases your odds of being the obsession by 100%
Camaraderie
- This perk will activate in both hook stages
Second wind
- after healing another survivor the equivalent of one health state this perk activates
- Once you are injured you are given the broken status effect for 32 seconds
- After the 32 seconds once you are outside of a 16m radius from the killer or in a locker you are instantly healed one health state
Lucky break
- Only removes pools of blood for the whole trial
Visionary
- This perks effects apply to all survivors within 24 meters of the user
Brutal strength
- Allows you to cancel kicking a pallet or wall (same as how generator kicking works)
Predator
- After hitting a survivor, the next time they are healed their aura is revealed to you for 6 seconds
Bloodhound
- Survivors will leave blood trails for 30 seconds after healing
Territorial imperative
- Remove distance from the basement requirement
- Receive a loud noise notification when a survivor enters the basement
Knock out
- Applies to all attacks, not just basic attacks
- Survivors hit with any basic attack are affected by the deaf status effect for 10 seconds
Thrilling tremors
- Decrease cooldown to 30 seconds
Surge;
- Remove cooldown
Zanshin tactics
- Falling on a pallet for a high place will break and and stun the killer for 1 second
Gearhead
- Activates after every basic attack
Deadman’s switch
- The perk activates for 30 seconds after every hook
Hex: retribution
- Cleansing a dull totem deafens the survivor who cleansed it for 15 seconds
- Cleansing any hex totem deafens all survivors for 20 seconds
Dragons grip
- The perk’s cooldown will not activate if the generator is not touched
- The perk cooldown works like make your choice
Blood favour
- No longer a hex perk
- Only activates on basic attack with 30 second cooldown
Oppression
- Decrease cooldown to 45 seconds
Coup de grâce
- Gain a token per hook up to a maximum of 5 tokens
Hoarder
- No longer spawns two additional chests
Monstrous shrine
- Creates two basements if possible on the map
- All survivors who enter the basement become oblivious as long as they are in the basement
Quality of life
- Survivors moans of pain and breathing are set to be all the same level of loudness (survivors such as Ash and Jeff are extremely loud while survivors like ace are extremely quiet)
- Killers are given a counter of how many dull and hex totems are in the trial
- Add an FOV slider that can increase FOV to the same level as shadowborn
- Survivors in the 1st hook stage can attempt to escape while they are the last survivor remaining
Cosmetic changes
- Rework Ash to look more like Bruce Campbell
- Give legendary skins different powers, sounds and animations (Krampus trapper would have different traps, Minotaur oni would have something different than a kanabo, etc)
- New young ash skin
- Legendary skins have different portraits when selecting character
- Killer legendary skins change voicelines and name in lobby
