I think its about that time we get some new maps.

To be honest it might just be me but Im getting very bored of playing in the same maps back to back. I know the reworked maps are supposed take the place of getting new maps but still I just find it boring. I'm not sure why but it seems like the odds of going to Midwich or Lerry's for me have been really high. There has not been a day where I have not gone to those maps and I keep getting those maps like 10x a day. The maps I barely been going to is coldwind, autohaven, and macmillan It would be cool if we ever have a patch where they just released maps only with some new interactions in those maps. What are you guys thoughts.

    Swamp, red forest and haddonfield should be reworked first

    A few weeks back (maybe months?), I made a post asking what maps people would create if BHVR left it up to them to decide, and there were a lot of great answers. I think a lot of us do want new maps, but there's also a case to be made that, from a resources standpoint, BHVR hasn't found the right balance yet between fixing existing content (map balance and general bugs) and putting out new content.

    Still, I hope for a new (good*) map. It makes me want to play a lot more than I have been lately.

    *Good for me equals relatively balanced between Killer and Survivor with a really cool aesthetic.

    We got a new map 3 months ago, the problem is that the current GOOD map variety is extremely stale. The reason we want new maps is because the current roster of maps we do have to play on are majority bad and minority good. Theres what like, 2 macmillan maps that are good and 3 autohaven maps that people like? Dead dawg is also relatively liked by most people. Thats really it, nearly every other map is unfun/boring/infuriating. If we actually had good maps i doubt we'd be asking for more

    We just got rpd I'm good if the devs wanna take a prolonged map break infavor of fixing and balancing everything

    It would be fun to get something new, but new map equals a possibility for another RPD.

    They are remaking all the old maps, from the grown up, Improving the gameplay of each of them, remaking the visuals.

    If that is whats lazy around here, I dare not know what busy feels like.

    Yeah they’re taking super long on the rest of the map reworks….

    This upcoming mid chapter release has no maps or map reworks and neither did the last 2 major updates.

    I hardly played the ptb because it was boring asf. Having a new map rework would’ve definitely made it more appealing.

    I wish they'd make new maps in existing realms. Like, more maps in the Léry's, Ormond, and Grave of Glenvale realms, for example.

    Some of my hopefuls:

    • Cave system - partially flooded with tidal highs and lows that open/block certain areas
    • Entity’s Warehouse - building of chaos loaded with fake props (gens, jigsaw boxes, hooks, plague fountains, etc.) Animatronics (spiraling survivors, jumpscare killers swiping at you (no injury though.)). Sounds coming over loudspeakers (terror radius, lullabies, locker doors, gens chugging/popping, survivors crying, etc). Obviously, balancing to prevent unfair advantages would need to be achieved.
    • Abandoned, rusted out battleship or submarine.
    • Creepy theme park (just saw a thread about this idea earlier tonight. Sounds fun!)

    What about a big tree called Shelter wood?And some vehicles called Wrecked yard.

    Those 3 maps should be removed

    Image other realm like Asylum that nothing but short walls and shack

    I literally get ormond and haddonfield at least one time every time I play. I never get Midwhich,or Macmillian.
