Egc
Made a post about the egc long ago and here I am, making another one.
Basically, it needs to be changed to end the game faster and begin quicker.
- if the door has been interacted with, the egc begins. Whether this be by initial interaction or at the 50% mark.
- the egc is no longer extended due to a dying/hooked survivor.
- it only exists to stop the get being held hostage, but does it very poorly. (99 the door, extended timer). What's even the point?
It should not be in favor of any side, just end the game.

99ing the Door-->Killer can open it.
Extending the Timer-->Game is not being held hostage, there is an definite end at this point.
EGC is not there to give the Killer anymore Kills. Your idea would favor the Killer.

It needs to be removed.
I hate it.

This sounds way more killer sides then the current iteration.
No Way Out and Blood Warden would need some heavy nerfs, especially if the EGC started when interacting with the switch.

I've asked before and I'll ask again. Let the killers jump through the hatch or walk out the door with the associated "escape the trial " points.

Nah. What about bloodwarden, NOED, No way out?
They need to change all the end game perks somehow plus the EGC it self to be balanced.
Too much time invested for something is not that big of a deal.
If it bothers you, just go and open the door yourself.

-opening the door doesn't matter when the game is extended another 2 minutes if you get a down or hook.
- of course it's not holding the game hostage. It's prolonging the game more even thought is suppose to be ending it. It's ironic l the timer increases/is slower.

If this were possible, I'd play Ghostface every game.
My turn to teabag at hatch.

Yes. I do agree some perks would have to tweaked.
But I disagree since the egc is a do or die situation with the game. Where killer and survivor still have time to get last second escapes and kills.

Yeah, but even at max timer, once the gate is open, there is a maximum of 4 minutes and then the game is over.
Before EGC existed, there were situations where Survivors were running around the Map and hiding. Or Killers just blocking Survivors into the Corner until they DC.
This cannot happen anymore. As I said - at maximum 4 minutes.

It's designed to give the game a definite end.
Yet the timer can be extended and can be avoided by 99ing the door.
It's not about giving the game a definite end. It's about how it does it.
Hence, it does it's job poorly.

Honestly make EGC start when interacting with a switch for the first time, make it not go 50% slower when there is a dying/hooked survivor, but also extend the timer to 3 minutes. I hate how survivors can 99 exit gates and completely cuck perks like Blood Warden. Don't start on "the killer can open it" yeah let me give up all my pressure to open an exit gate thats 40m away. I don't want EGC to be "more time for the killer to get kills" I want it to be an impactful event about making haste when the game is at its climax.
