Doing my mission but it is NOT capturing the progress

I did what the mission on the rift challenge required (multiple times, and over a few games to make sure it wasn't just a one time glitch - on different days) but it is NOT capturing my progress. The pass is ending in a few days, and in order to finish all the missions, I also need to get past this specific one for the last MASTER challenge.
