Big single perk concept switch
Wanted to make a perk that drastically affected gameplay because I thought it was an interesting idea being able to switch between 2 survivors mid match
Switch
Upon equipping this perk you gain 3 extra perk slots in your loadout and select a 2nd survivor
You enter the trial as the first survivor in the trial you will have your first set of perks equipped (switch + first 3 perks in loadout)
Upon staying in a locker for 10/9/8 seconds you are prompted to switch, doing so with the secondary action button changes you into the other survivor and exits the locker
The survivor you switch to has switch + the 3 perks from the extra perk slots but none of other the perks from the first survivor
Items transfer between survivors except in the case of death where the item is dropped under the hook like normal
Health states are independent of the other survivor (ie one can be injured and switch out the the healthy one but the injured one won't become healthy upon switching back)
Reduces hook stages that both selected survivors have by 2, (first hook is instant death) when one survivor dies you will respawn into the trial as the other survivor if they are still alive and switch becomes disabled until the end of the match, if you died as the obsession you will still be the obsession when you respawn
you don't respawn if you were the last survivor
downsides
2 hooks instead of 3, 1 hook for each survivor
doesn't work with certain perks
ds, breakdown, deliverance, off the record, renewal, resurgence, 2nd wind
out of the game for a little bit when respawning (I think the animation of the entity killing you takes about 10-15 seconds
upsides
counters certain killer perks
devour hope, make your choice, Monstrous Shrine, scourge hook gift of pain
healthy upon respawning (if other survivor was left healthy)
respawning removes a lot of pressure the killer gets by hooking you
very strong hook trade potential when other survivor is still alive, ever more if you have bt

Hmm 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
As long as locker orientated perks cannot activate if switched.
So like if you have head on and switch and the other surv as head on too. It has to re-arm.
Seems like a meme perk though so not really viable in an actual build. I would assume at least

Seems strong on paper... but would have to see it in game for me to say anything else
So you'd have only 2 hooks instead of 3?

Correct, you get a sum total of 2 hooks instead of 3, and its not 2 hooks on each survivor its each survivor upon being hooked dies

Right.... I just put them together... seems that you are playing 2 Survivors instead of 1

Yep thats the idea 2 survivors, 1 hook each, 3 perks each plus a few stipulations and a way to switch between them if both are still alive

That's a cool idea on paper
