Sabotage Perk Pointless
On multiple occasions, I have seen sabotage timed perfectly so that the killer arrives RIGHT at the moment the hook falls, yet the killer still has enough time to walk past the fallen hook and mount the carried survivor on the next-nearest hook anyway. What is the point of this mechanic if a sabotaged hook doesn't hinder the killer or save the survivor?

what build do you use to sabotage a hook?

Sabotaging can’t be too easy, or it will be broken like the old days when it was permanent. Sabo’ing one hook with Breakout and a couple whiffs or a protection hit should be enough.
The Sabotage perk would be much better if it showed the hook aura around a dying survivor before they are picked up though, and shouldn’t enter cool down unless you successfully sabotage. It’s annoying when you wanted to heal or something else but instead start sabotaging.

The perk has the added benefit of seeing hook auras, so you can use a toolbox for the next nearest hook that the killer would want.
However, as was mentioned earlier in this thread, sabo can’t be too easy. You pretty much need to base your whole build around it.
- Bring Breakout so you can run fast enough to get ahead of the killer as he goes to the next hook. Helps your buddy wiggle faster too.
- Bring Mettle of Man to tank a hit if you’re injured when sabotaging the 2nd hook.
- Bring WGLF to benefit from all the protection hits you’ll end up taking AND to more quickly heal slugs for when the killer inevitably gets sick of you and drops your teammate in order to chase you.

I really don't want to see any buffs for sabotage.
You can create build around it and only thing killer can do is drop survivor and chase you.
When multiple survivors use it, then it is just ######### show.

Because 4 slightly increase hook range, breakout (10 wiggle to 8 wiggle), sabo a hook.
Sabo build should not be stronger.

It's a remnant of the old days. It's not intended to be viable. Use it mostly for meme'ing, preferably in a swf.
