Dead by Daylight should no longer be affected by an outage. Players logging into the game between September 26 3PM ET and September 28th 3PM ET will receive 1M Bloodpoints as compensation.

MMR and hiding survivors

I read somewhere that the new MMR system only rewards survivors that escape. I wonder if this is why I keep finding myself in games where some people just spend the whole game doing nothing but avoiding the killer. No gens, no rescues just the main intent is the let the rest of the game to do gens or die.

    if i get into a match and see the people who i get randomly teamed with being idiots or just not good at all. if i feel that match is unwinnable my focus shifts i will avoid detection and pray for escape or last alive. welcome to the new MMR. generally i have enough time to scout both door locations and see what location i feel might give me the best chance at escape after the killer closes the hatch.
