Recommended twins changes from a main

All of these changes aim towards making them more interactive and fun to play as and against. Cutting down on slugging and camping and reliance on injuries, improving use of Charlotte, interaction between Charlotte and Victor, general changes and so on. This is going to be a long one, so buckle up.

#1 Cutting down on slugging- New ability: Drag. By using the basic attack button over a downed survivor as Victor, you will switch back to Charlotte and Victor will begin dragging the downed survivor towards you using Nemisis' zombie AI. The survivor cannot escape from this alone or recover while being dragged, but another can come to kick Victor and try to pick up. Victor in this state would act as normal with the ability to be switched to and to detect with killer instict.

Cutting reliance on injuries- New passive: Scent Trails. Victor will be able to see a wavering thin pink trail being left by survivors. Scent trails stay for 6 seconds. He would also have improves hearing, with everything's audio range being extended 8 meters.

Additional attachment effects: Victor applies the Blindness status effect as well as deafness after being attached for 15 seconds. After 20, he will apply a deep wound, and a 5% hindered at 30. These timers are paused if the survivor is struggling to remove Victor. This makes the removal of Victor more integral and intense, as well as giving more incentive to use him on healthy survivors. The remove action now also has a 5 second cooldown when canceled.

#2 Cutting down on camping- Victor will now die when he is inactive within hook range. Charlotte will now be deafened for 5 seconds after awakening.

#3 improved usage of Charlotte- Charlotte, much like Victor, will no longer have a "wake up" period upon switching to her. Upon Victor's death by any means, Charlotte will now gain a 15% haste effect for 5 seconds, and a 10% haste effect for 10 seconds after. Survivors who kill Victor will be revealed by killer instict for 5 seconds. If Victor dies to the timer, a pulse wave will be sent out putting 1 second of killer insticts on every survivor in a 30 meter range. Charlotte will also be able to recall Victor while he is inactive, resulting in a 15 second respawn.

#4 Interaction between Charlotte and Victor- Scent trails are revealed to Charlotte within an 8 meter range of Victor. Killer instict is shown to Victor for 2 seconds after switching. Mapwide switching sounds are removed inside of the terror radius and the terror radius take 5 seconds to fade away as well as fading back in.

#5 general changes- Hook range is increased by 4 meters. The vacuum sound on an inactive Victor are removed unless perfume is used. Respawn timer for Victor will now be 10 seconds at base to penalize being kicked more. Victor will be tracked by perks like spine chill, premonition, Object of Obsession, Dark sense, etc. He will also be counted as a "killers belonging" on maps addons. Improve the Victor cooldown animations so it doesn't feel as clunky with multiple seconds of empty slow movement. Make the red flash on a kickable Victor much brighter to make it more discernable when he can be kicked. Lock Victor's movement when the kick action is in progress.


I hope these changes could make playing as and against twins an overall better experience. Sure there are a lot of buffs, but they are buffs that would give incentive for less boring/annoying playstyles. Slugging and camping wouldn't be as common, and survivors would see Charlotte more often than just being hooked by her. The twins would still be strong, probably even stronger, but their strengths would be shifted away from the things that make them so hated. Thanks for reading.


TL:DR- Victor can drag downed people to Charlotte. He gets a few tracking and attachment buffs to make injuries less nessecary. Charlotte gets some buffs and can recall Victor. Victor dies in hook range. Both get slightly better tracking abilities and an opportunity for stealthy switching plays. Victor is tracked as if he is both a killer belonging and a killer himself. Animations are improved.
