Pinhead with Hoarder needs a nerf
This is so broken it reminds me of machine gun build on killers. How is this available in the game in such a way that survivors are constantly hindered from doing any actions in the game?
Survivor is already the most steep hill to climb, I don't think this is necessary for a guaranteed victory for the killer.
I played a few matches where the killer was constantly able to keep the Chain Hunt in action because he was always notified where the box is located.
Dear BHVR, nobody could do the objective except for the killer.

I like going against Pinhead with hoarder
Because what usually happens from my experience is:
- Competent survivor picks up box
- Pinhead tries to catch them, fails and basically throws the game trying to catch them
- They either lose all the gens or DC when they realise they've thrown the game
I laugh every time it happens

hoarder is only op at levels of play where monstrous shrine is op.

Unless you were complaining about hoarder before the release of pinhead, it's not hoarder that would need to be nerfed at all

the box spawns immediately after a chain hunt starts and if nobody's doing gens then somebody's after the box and it's only a matter of time

It can be quite difficult, but I don't think it's a Pinhead issue. If anything, the release of Pinhead confirms that DbD needs to seriously start integrating SWF into its base gameplay. Doing so will allow us to get more awesome and interactive killers such as Pinhead.
As it is, Pinhead only feels oppressive because solo q has zero communication besides a point and come emote. Hoarder Pinhead would be nowhere near as devastating for the average DbD match if somebody could say in (opt in) voice chat or Ping that they are Going For The Box.

Survivors have to do 3 hard objectives with this killer, plus all of the objectives trying to coordinate and survive. Solos automatically lose to this killer like they do to Blight.
Must do 5 hard to do gens.
Find totems to eliminate overpowered Ruin/Undying/NOED
Find the Lament Configuration constantly.

While the killer only has 1 very simple objective. Someone needs to explain how that is fair.

Us killers would love to kill the survivors until they all die, but we both know the best tactic is eliminate one person ASAP to make the game manageable...but by then the game is nearing its end anyway.
What would you suggest so that we can share the love equally amongst all the survivors, giving everybody almost max BP while also still having a fair chance at at least a 2k?
Slowing gen speeds is surely not the right call.

Survivors disliking Pinhead really makes me believe most survivors really find "Hold M1 on a gen" is the most fun aspect of DBD. I find Pinhead very fun because he forces the rest of the team and I to do something different. He makes the game feel fresher and adds a mini-objective so it's not the same exact thing like with most other killers. Also hoarder was considered the worst perk in the game before Pinhead, and nothing was changed about the perk, so why nerf hoarder? Honestly if it's that big of a problem, delete the perk, replace it with a new one (been done before: see tinkerer) and accept that hoarder was a failed design.

If hoarder gets nerfed for him, his power needs a buff so that there's at least a 0.00001% chance a chain hunt ever goes off in a normal match.

How can they lose the gens if the survivors aren't able to do them because of never ending chains?

If someone is looping pinhead with the box, then the 3 other survivors aren't having chains. The hunt stops for the other survivors if one just holds onto the box. So if you are a god tier looper you can just grab the box, loop Pinhead for the whole game, and he doesn't ever get a chain hunt on the others. He is effectively denied his power unless he can catch you. Sure, that one survivor has to deal with chains, but the chains are really only an issue when doing gens/healing/doing totems. They're easily avoidable while being chased. So you just occupy his time looping him, easily avoid the chains, and let your 3 teammates hammer out the gens.

If you've played pinhead for a while, you can predict where the box will spawn anyway, making hoarder unnecessary.

Spoken by someone who has never played killer in their life. Survivors have 5 objectives (5 gens) with 4 people. Killer has 12 objectives (12 hooks) with one person. This is the simple way of looking at it, once you go more in depth with looking at perks/loops/addons and so on, you see it becomes a lot more favored towards survivors.

What usually happens from my experience is:
- Cenobite 4ks at 4 gens remaining
- Sometimes 5 gens

No, just like the combination of The Huntress and Iron_Maiden, Pinhead has the right to use Hoarder. You are not entitled to deprive Pinhead of power. Pinhead still needs technology to knock down the survivors. Don’t blame your laziness on the combination of Pinhead and Hoarder.
Please stand by the killer's situation.
