I love the RPD Map and here is a possible solution
Hi, I really love the RPD Map! Unfortunately it's nearly unplayable for the most killer included me. I thought after a certain time I would learn where the gens are and how I get up or down. But it only got slightly better.But I think it would be a shame if the map had to be adjusted and the originality could be lost.
What do you think of adjusting the generator times for such extensive locations instead the map?
That would give the map creators more freedom for future larger maps.

I'd personally support just cutting RPD into three separate maps in the same realm, they don't need to add maps this gigantic at all- making baseline mechanics work differently for big maps is definitely a band-aid fix, imo.

Ya know, I'm usually against increasing gen times (cuz doing gens is so boring) but I actually don't think this would be a bad idea for all larger maps that are too big to pressure. Maybe not an incredible increase but something to compensate for the devs not taking gameplay into account at all when designing them.

Same gens are boring after a certain time. But there sometimes a killer hiding in the bushes to make it more interesting. ;)
To make the gens more interesting, the doors of some rooms could be closed and can only opened with scattered keys. A lot of them so that is impossible for the killer to camp the keys. That would increase the time for the survivor without increasing the gen times.
A problem which i see that it's more work for Behavior to adjust the gen times for special maps. Tbh I dont see other maps which have problems with the gen timing. Maybe Midwich, okay..
Splitting the map would also be good if it retains its flair. I like to have different maps, which we already have.
