Now that pallet drops and DH are server sided, can we take a look at vaults too?
There have been so many instances where I get hit even though I’m already on the other side of the pallet after vaulting, because the killer has high ping. Or even windows like the killershack where I get hit 1 second after fast vaulting where if it was a killer with low ping, it wouldn’t have hit.
Having high ping in this game shouldn’t give an advantage anymore, making vaults server sided would fix alot of bs hits.

Sure thing, if it also means when I shock a survivor as Doctor it actually prevents them from vaulting like it should.

Playing against a wraith with 200+ ping on the game map is hell, believe me. Without the new pallet drop validation I would’ve been downed instantly. Every time he got stunned he teleported to my side for a second before teleporting back. High ping shouldn’t give advantages anymore

Sadly high ping still gives you advantages.
When I get refunds on my hits as killer it is almost always a survivor with 100+ ping, while survivors with around my own ping 30 to 40 rarely gets it.

That’s most likely because of desync, on their screen they’re already vaulting while on your screen they’re just about to do it. It kept happening to me too even though I only have 30 ping so it has to be because of desync

You missed my point entirely. Most of the time when you shock a survivor and it SHOULD prevent them from vaulting, they still vault anyway.

How about complete invulnerability from getting hit.
I have stable green ping in all of my games and yet there are instances where survivor gets hit, half a second later drops pallet on me and the hit gets refunded even after all the animations & sound already played.
Now, survivors can refund mid animation ranged attacks or lunges with dead hard.
Soon we might just remove weapons from killers and make them stare survivors to death since attacks them won't do anything anyway.

That's more of a timing thing. If they get the vault prompt before your shock hits them, then the shock won't prevent their vault.

Agreed. I'm aware that desync is usually the issue. I was being facetious but also completely serious. I would prefer the shock to be validated by the server so that I can actually prevent a vault if I time a shock right.

Kinda this, honestly. I know it's equally unfair to get downed by noodle arms, and it's not reasonable for survivors to bear the brunt of the servers being crap... but server side hit validation is an absolute ######### as killer and the full shift just pushes the problem around. Like you, my ping is fine - but I lose so much time going "wait, what?" nowadays. The game tells me I downed a survivor and suddenly they're gone, and I wasn't even looking in the direction they vanished in because I was searching for them on the floor. Kills a close chase dead in its tracks.
Timing is everything as killer and it's way too common for the game to tell you the survivor is closer to you than they are. I guess I haven't experienced enough BS downs while playing survivor to want this.
