We have temporarily disabled Firecrackers and the Flashbang Perk due to a bug which could cause the Killer's game to crash. These will be re-enabled in an upcoming patch when the issue is resolved.

Dead Hard hit registration causing mechanical issues.

Beyond the obvious cry and blood splatter, which is annoying, certain killer actions don't work correctly with the new hit registration.

My example: Playing as Nemesis with at least tier 2 mutation, if a survivor drops a pallet in front of you and you go to whip them with your tentacle and they dead hard, your tentacle will "hit" them, be rolled back from the hit registration, but then just not break the pallet you are hitting across. So you are stuck there using your tentacle across a pallet and neither getting an injure or a pallet break.

Yeah its REALLY bad after the patch. In basically every other game I will have a time where I hit the survivor they scream blood splatters my screen, but they dead hard and I still go through the animation of a successful hit despite the hit being "refunded". With laggy survivors there are times where I will hit them as they start to slow vault a pallet but the hit doesn't count despite again gong through the successful hit animation. I'm not sure if this is a separate bug but with oni power when I hit the survivor with the club it will only hit them for one health state despite coming out of dash or charging the hit.

"Oh apparently this is from the "buff" to dead hard where it checks the hit registration from the survivors side. There's lots of videos where it eats up killer's power or hits, and some where they vault through a window and don't go down despite getting hit. So at the moment its not a bug but an intended feature."

Honestly, not surprised of this causing bugs with things like STBFL or this. As long as we make the survivor player-base happy am I right?

    Silly killer main.

And you can bet it would get patched lightning quick if you were getting extra stacks of STBFL
